Our tuition not only covers a weekly, one-hour music lessons, each student can participate in an actual rock band. At Los Rios Rock School, our students play at real rock venues such as The House of Blues, The Coach House and Stillwater. We form student bands, create a special set list for each band and the group practices during our Saturday rehearsal time. Not only to students learn how to play an instrument, they build confidence performing and build strong friendships with other students.
Students looking for Ladera Ranch music lessons can select just about any instrument imaginable. We offer lessons for all types of guitars as well as drums, saxophone, clarinet, flute, piano & keyboards, cello, violin and much more! We also offer vocal lessons as well as songwriting lessons. Your child also could opt to split their hour-long lesson into two parts. This accommodates the needs of a student who might want to learn piano and take voice lessons or someone who wishes to learn guitar and saxophone. Each of our instructors goes through a rigorous screening process, and each one of them also is current member of a working band that has produced and released albums. Our teachers are excited about music and let the kids lead the experience by allowing them to choose songs that suit their own personal style. Students can learn by practicing any genre of music they love, from rock to classical or country, blues, pop or any combination they enjoy.
In addition to learning an instrument, Ladera Ranch music students also are given an opportunity to learn how to use all of our state-of-the-art equipment. They can set up for shows, work in the production booth and get a true taste of the music business.
Los Rios Rock School also offers an annual summer camp experience. We offer a full day of activities and workshops, and the kids enjoy everything from live band performances to jam sessions and much more. Workshops include songwriting and recording workshops, guitar workshops and percussion workshops.
