Chris Bates started playing drums in 2nd grade in both orchestra and the school jazz ensemble. He was in honor jazz band for years and played in marching band as well forming his first rock band in Middle School. He started teaching drums shortly thereafter and played drums in bands all through high school with Buckcherry frontman Josh Todd.
For many years, Chris has been electrifying crowds with his hard hitting power and deep driving bass drum grooves. He has played in many different bands over the years touring throughout California and performing in some of Hollywood’s most famed venues.
