What we have at Los Rios Rock School is a rare combination of guitar teachers with extensive experience in instruction as well as live performances, studio performances, touring, composition, arrangement and production. As working musicians, we share our insights and trade secrets as we are living out our own goals and dreams, thereby bringing authenticity into what we’re teaching… because we believe in what we’re doing.

Los Rios Rock School offers lessons in acoustic, electric and bass guitar, utilizing a variety of proven techniques to create an individualized, student-driven curriculum.

With the goal of creating an environment that’s both fun and encouraging, students will gain confidence as they transition from private lessons into group rehearsals, with recitals staged as concert style performances at a premier venue.

Our guitar programs serve students at all levels, including those who are entirely new to music lessons to those seeking to advance their professional careers. All students will be guided to reach their true potential as their own unique playing style is discovered and formed.

Students will also have the opportunity to work with professional producers and engineers in our state-of-the art recording studios.  (See also our relationship with “Friends of LRRS” and the equipment we use.)

 

My daughter is an advanced guitarist. Over the years we have worked with many fine instructors and participated in a wide variety of workshops, camps and opportunities. The Los Rios Rock School is second to none. It excels at providing young musicians with the complete rock experience including group play, recording and performance. In the South Orange County area, it is unique in this aspect. They offer guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, voice, theory and more. It is also a very safe place for children, operated by caring professionals who are attentive to the needs of their students and concerns of their parents. As the parent of a budding rock star, I am excited to be part of this amazing school.
