Program Overview
Everything you need to know about joining Los Rios Rock School
We teach kids to be musicians.
Los Rios Rock School isn’t your average “music lessons” place.
We combine one-on-one instruction with a full band experience. That means, instead of simply “playing an instrument,” our students learn how to think, feel, and create as a musician.

What's included?
Here’s a breakdown of everything included when you join Los Rios Rock School
You Get a One-Hour Private Lesson Once Per Week
- Be taught by professional multi-instrumentalist, degreed instructors who are also current composers and session musicians.
- Use 1 of 7 Large Rehearsal Labs so your student can play across from their instructor. This way, they can experience their musical part instead of only solving puzzles ( like most music lessons).
- Can also experiment with any of the other instruments the teacher plays/teaches.
- A custom Learning Management App profile with their homework, chat, leaderboards, badges, and practice timer.
An Open Invitation to All of Our Weekly Clubs
- Monday Nights & Saturdays: Join us Monday nights for Jam 99 from 7:30 to 9 PM. On Saturdays, we host Jam 99 at 10 AM and our new Horn Club at 11 AM.
- Group Song Workshop: This workshop is held on our pro stage where you play with other students and work through a song a week. It is a great place to make friends and build relationships.
- Teen Jam and Hang: This club meets Monday nights from 7:30 to 9 PM for students ages 12 & up. Players in this group collaborate to decide which songs they want to work on.
Live Concert Program and Summer School Masterclass Program
- Once they are ready, the student’s teacher guides them through their audition for one of our three levels.
- The three levels are Jam 101, Jam 102, or Advanced 103. Also includes our popular Jazz/Blues Club, which is open to 102 and 103 levels.
- The Live Concert Program requires 1 or 2 hour-long rehearsals per week
- The School performs 100 songs that are picked by the students every 4 months to perform LIVE in concert.
- Attend multiple masterclass workshops all summer long varying from songwriting, basic home recording, advanced recording, stage and studio performance, college prep and many more.
All of this is Included for $450 per month
