The goal of our songwriting program at Los Rios Rock School is to provide our students and aspiring songwriters with the necessary tools to express themselves through music. Whether that entails music theory, production techniques, lyric workshop or other training, our staff of industry professionals are more than prepared to help bring your songs to life.

The staff at Los Rios Rock School not only includes active performers, but professional songwriters and session musicians as well, with compositions featured in hit TV programs (A&E’s “The Beast”), national ad campaigns (Wendy’s, ASOS, Sailor Jerry’s), video games (Burnout Dominator), Songwriting magazine, Guitar World magazine, and many others.

One of the main struggles for budding songwriters is the actual completion of a song. The facilities at LRRS allow for all of the writing, pre-production, recording, mixing, and mastering to be done right here on site in one of our two state of the art studios.

No prior songwriting experience is necessary to begin creating your very own compositions.

Our staff is well versed in all genres of music, whether you’re interested in indie rock, latin jazz, classical composition, film scoring, heavy metal or anything in between, we’re equipped to make your songwriting goals a reality.

LRRS features not only a staff of pro session players, but some of the most talented young musicians around. Our Monday night “Song Summit” house band gives our songwriters access to a talented group to perform their songs in a live concert setting.

Publishing or licensing through Los Rios Records, In Between Records, is also open to students.
