Clark’s musical journey began in Clovis, CA, where he first picked up a bass guitar at the age of 16, while also participating in the high school church choir. His passion for music led him to pursue it as a career, leading him to Fresno City College’s commercial music program, where he earned his AA in Commercial Music. He then furthered his education in Los Angeles, enrolling in the prestigious Grove School of Music’s Bass Performance Program, where he refined his skills under the mentorship of renowned musicians such as The Tonight Show bassist Joel Dibartolo and opera baritone Jubilant Sykes.

Over the years, Clark has graced stages alongside notable figures including American Idol sensation Kimberly Locke, 80s icon John Waite, guitar virtuoso Richie Kotzen, house music Diva Kristine W., and acclaimed country songwriter Maia Sharpe. His versatility as both a bassist and vocalist has seen him perform in a myriad of shows alongside diverse acts.

In addition to his live performances, Clark has established himself as a world-class recording engineer and Pro Tools expert. His artistic contributions include the release of seven solo records and his involvement in co-producing and mixing/mastering the debut album of Today Was Yesterday, featuring icons Alex Lifeson of Rush and Robbie Krieger of The Doors.

Growing up in an environment influenced by educators, Clark embodies a natural teaching spirit, infusing his lessons with enthusiasm drawn from years of musical creation and performance. His dedication to sharing his wealth of experience underscores his commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians.

Clark currently shares his expertise by teaching bass, voice, recording, production, piano, and guitar at Los Rios Rock School.
