We are incredibly excited to announce that our upcoming Los Rios Rock School concert is heading to a brand-new venue: The Station in San Juan Capistrano. If you haven’t been yet, you are in for a treat. This isn’t just a stage; it’s a beautifully restored piece of Orange County history located right in the heart of the Los Rios District. It’s the perfect “South OC” backdrop for a night of incredible music.
🏛️ More Than Just a Venue
The Station is famous for its vintage-meets-modern aesthetic. You’ll be surrounded by:
- Historic Rail Cars: The property features a beautifully restored 1940s sleeper car and an 1895 caboose (the “Loose Caboose”) that make for incredible photos.
- The “Surfliner” Vibe: Since it’s an active depot, you’ll likely see the Pacific Surfliner roar past just feet from the patio during the show—it adds an amazing, cinematic energy to the performances!
🍴 Dinner & Drinks
We chose this spot because we wanted you to have a great experience while the kids rock out. The Station’s kitchen is known for elevated, internationally-inspired comfort food.
- The Menu: Skip the pre-show drive-thru! You can enjoy everything from Local Grilled Artichokes with truffle aioli and Short Rib Sliders to full entrees like Pan-Seared Boursin Chicken.
- The Bar: They feature a full craft bar with signature cocktails like the Blackberry Surfliner and a great selection of local beers.
🅿️ Quick Logistics for a Stress-Free Night
- Parking: The best spot is the Franciscan Plaza Structure (26732 Verdugo St) or the Los Rios Park Lot (off Paseo Adelanto). Both are a short, scenic stroll to the venue. Note: Please avoid driving down the narrow residential Los Rios Street!
- Seating: There is plenty of comfortable booth and table seating inside the main room where you can eat, drink, and have a clear view of the stage.
