Los Rios Rock School is heading to the heart of downtown San Clemente for two days of live performances at Krazy Kooters. Shows start Saturday, December 12 at 2:30 p.m., and Sunday, December 13 at 4 p.m. With a brand-new concert space and sound system, plus a restaurant worth arriving hungry for, this is a show weekend families can build a whole outing around.
A new concert space for our December shows
The big news is The Lo, Krazy Kooters’ dedicated entertainment space. This new concert hall comes with a brand-new sound system and its own bar, and it’s where our students will take the stage for the December shows.

For our students, show weekends are when all those rehearsals become something they can share. They get to step onstage with their bandmates, play for a crowd, and hear their friends and families cheering them on. We’re excited to bring that energy to downtown San Clemente.
Right in the heart of downtown
Located at 215 South El Camino Real, Krazy Kooters offers indoor dining and outdoor patio seating, along with a rooftop patio called La Luna. It’s an inviting setup for meeting up with other families, sitting down to a meal, and spending some time together around the show.
The downtown location also gives you a reason to arrive early and explore before the music starts. Make a little room in the schedule, bring the grandparents or a few friends, and enjoy being out in San Clemente.
Concert seating and chair reservations
Seating for meals is available on the patios and in the indoor dining area. The concert hall has a bar and a few couches along the sides; otherwise, it is standing general admission for your student’s set.
A limited number of chairs can be reserved in advance for elderly guests and guests with disabilities who need seating. To request a chair for your student’s set, email schedule@losriosrockschool.com and include your student’s name and set.
27 chairs will be available. Please request a chair only for a guest who needs this accommodation. Any remaining chairs without a reserved sign are available for anyone to use.

Bring an appetite
Burgers are a good place to start. The Bacon Blue pairs a smash patty with gorgonzola, smoked bacon, and onion aioli, while the Klassic Kooter keeps things familiar with cheese and the traditional fixings. For the table, Katywampus Fries arrive piled with bourbon kalua pork, cheese fondue, onion jam, and pickles.
There’s plenty to explore beyond the burgers, too. The menu includes Nashville-style chicken, steak with fries, and an ahi bowl with rice, avocado, and mango salsa. Salads offer another option, and younger diners have their own menu with chicken fingers, a cheeseburger, grilled cheese, and mac and cheese.
It’s a menu that gives a mixed group plenty of choices, whether you’re coming for a burger or settling in for a meal with the whole family.
Drinks and live music under one roof
The restaurant’s full bar serves cocktails, wine, and beer, with lemonade, iced tea, and other alcohol-free choices also on the menu. The concert room’s own bar is another welcome part of the setup, putting drinks right in the live music space.
For the Los Rios community, the appeal is having so much of the day in one place. Meet up for a meal, support the students, and enjoy a venue with plenty of character.
Mark December 12 and 13 on your calendar. We can’t wait to see our students take the stage at Krazy Kooters, and we’d love to have you there cheering them on.
