Need Guitar Lessons? Laguna Beach Students Rock Out At Los Rios Rock School
For some people, learning the flute or violin doesn’t sound as exciting as an instrument such as the drums or the guitar. If your child or teenager fits this description, we can help. At Los Rios Rock School, we offer guitar lessons for Laguna Beach students with a twist.
Our students not only learn how to play the guitar, they use those skills in live rock shows at venues such as The House of Blues, Stillwater and the Coach House. Your tuition includes a full, 60-minute weekly guitar lesson as well as this rock band experience. Students come to the school for their weekly lesson and also come once per week to practice and jam with their bandmates, and it’s all included in your monthly tuition.
If you want guitar lessons, Laguna Beach students can learn to play electric guitar as well as bass or acoustic guitar and even ukulele. We also offer lessons in virtually every other instrument, from the accordion to the zither. You can take guitar lessons, drum lessons, flute, cello, violin, saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, piano or whatever you love.
For kids and teens who wish to learn more than one instrument, we can accommodate this as well offering guitar lessons. Laguna Beach students can split their weekly lesson into two parts and spend half of their time learning guitar and half working on saxophone or perhaps 30 minutes on bass and 30 minutes on keyboards. We also offer vocal lessons, and you could do a split lesson with guitar and voice, piano and voice, etc.
Students also can choose the music they use for lessons, which greatly increases enthusiasm for learning and practice. Our instructors, all of who are professional musicians in working bands, can teach a wide variety of instruments using any genre of music. This includes country, pop, rock, soul, bluegrass, rockabilly, R&B and whatever else your child might enjoy.
In addition to guitar lessons for Laguna Beach teens and children, we also offer special programs for our budding songwriters. Our Song Summit program allows students to write, record and produce their own musical creations. Our school is filled with state-of-the-art production equipment and the students can learn to use it all. We even can show them how to set up for shows, do sound checks and much more.
