Forget the uninspired music lessons of the past. At Los Rios Rock School, we make learning an instrument an exciting and fun experience for all of our students.
If you are searching for music lessons in Laguna Beach, we are just minutes away in historic San Juan Capistrano. Not only does our tuition include a full, one-hour weekly lesson, your child also enjoys a true rock band experience. We create student bands and the kids perform live at venues such as The Coach House, Stillwater and The House of Blues.
Our Saturday band sessions are not just great practice for upcoming gigs, they allow an exciting social experience for your children. The kids gain confidence through lessons and live performances as well as forging great friendships with other music students. In addition, we have all the top, state-of-the-art music equipment and we let the kids use it all. They can set up for a show like a true roadie and learn how to produce music just like a professional.
We offer Laguna Beach music lessons for a plethora of instruments including all types of guitars from acoustic to bass to electric, as well as percussion, piano and keyboarding, trumpet, clarinet, flute, saxophone and much more. In addition, students can take vocal lessons or songwriting lessons. Students can choose practice songs from any genre of music, including rock, country, blues, R&B, pop, classical or whatever they truly love. You can also split your hour-long lesson in two portions. For instance, some Laguna Beach music students wish to spend a half-hour on guitar and a half-hour on piano or perhaps 30 minutes of voice lessons and 30 minutes of clarinet lessons, whatever your child will most enjoy.
Each of our highly qualified teachers has been pre-screened carefully. Our teachers also have real-world music experience, and each is currently part of a working band that has released an album or albums. Our instructors also lead our popular summer rock camp, which is a week filled with cool activities, jam sessions and plenty of interesting workshops. We offer vocal workshops, recording workshops, guitar workshops and much more during this annual rock camp.
