Irvine Drum Lessons With A Twist
At Los Rios Rock School, our students enjoy more than a basic, weekly lesson. Our Irvine music students perform live at popular Orange County rock venues such as The House of Blues in Anaheim, The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano and Stillwater in Dana Point.
Irvine drum lessons are available for both children and teens, and our tuition includes a weekly one-hour lesson as well as your rock band experience! We create student bands, rehearse our set lists and then rock out at the live shows. Live performances provide your child with a creative outlet, and it’s a great way to build self-confidence and make new friends.
Our high-quality drums are the same ones that are used by legendary drummers such as Dave Grohl, Daniel Adair, Neil Peart and Scott Travis. Our students use handmade DW Collector’s Series drums for lessons as well as performances, providing the best possible sound.
If your child is interested in more than just drum lessons, they can split their lesson into two separate parts. We have kids who spend a half-hour on the drums and the other half hour doing vocal work. Some kids prefer drums and piano or perhaps clarinet and bass guitar.
Our carefully screened instructors are professional musicians with concert experience, as well as production experience. They can teach just about any instrument using whatever genre of music your child loves, from rock to country to pop and anything in between.
In addition to instrumental music lessons and voice lessons, we also can teach your child how to write songs and produce their own music. Many of our students even perform their own original compositions during the live performances.
