A Unique San Clemente Music Camp Experience For Kids, Teens
The lazy days of summer are approaching, but if you are concerned that your teen or child might end up being a bit too lazy, a fun San Clemente music camp might be the perfect activity. If you have a child that loves to sing or play an instrument, the team at Los Rios Rock School is offering exciting weekly music camps throughout the summer.
Our half-camp days are the perfect option for a child or teen searching for a San Clemente music camp with a rock and roll twist. Students get to spend the week banging on the drums, strumming guitars, playing piano and singing to their heart’s content, and, best of all, they get to display their musical skills at the end of the week with a live rock show on our school’s private stage, The Lobby.
Whether your child has spent years in vocal lessons or many months learning the piano, guitar, saxophone or another instrument or your child has no musical experience at all, we have a little something for everyone at our summer rock camps. We offer beginner & intermediate camp weeks, as well as an advanced camp week. Advanced campers will participate in the same types of activities as our less experienced groups; we simply increase the difficulty in accordance with their higher skill level.
Our music camps are led by our team of professional music instructors, and campers are divided into groups led by at least two instructors as well as several junior instructors. These younger instructors include our most experienced and advanced rock school students. In addition to selecting songs and practicing for the big show on the last day of camp, the campers will spend their time enjoying a wide variety of workshops and activities. The topics of these activities reflect the interests and ability levels of each specific group of campers.
Our Advanced Camp will be held the week of July 17-21. Our Beginner & Intermediate music camps will be held during the weeks of June 26-June 30; July 10-July 14; July 24-July 28; and July 31-August 4. The cost for each music camp is $299 for current Los Rios Rock School students and $399 for non-students. Camp tuitions will be due two weeks prior to the camp start date. Of course, if you are looking for more than just a San Clemente music camp, summer is the ideal time to start music lessons. At Los Rios Rock School, we offer lessons for virtually every instrument imaginable, including electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, piano & keyboards, trumpet, clarinet and saxophone. We also offer vocal lessons, and even music theory and songwriting classes.
