Rock Out With San Clemente Piano Lessons
If you need San Clemente piano lessons but you want something a little bit out of the box, Los Rios Rock School has just what you need. We offer high-quality piano lessons for San Clemente kids and teens, but unlike traditional piano lessons, we crank up the fun factor and provide each student with an authentic rock experience. Here’s a look at what we offer.
Our Lessons
Learning should be fun, and San Clemente piano lessons should be no exception to this rule. Our expert instructors teach using a song-based and performance-based system. We believe that when students learn to play using music they truly love, they are more inclined to practice and progress quicker. We can teach students using any genre of music they love, and within just a few lessons, students will be able to play a favorite song or two.
Your tuition includes a weekly, 60 minute piano lesson, as we believe that a full hour of weekly instruction is more beneficial than the typical 30-minute or 45-minute lessons provided by most music schools and private instructors. If your child or teen is interested in more than San Clemente music lessons, we can split the lesson into two parts. A student might spend half of their lesson on piano instruction and the remainder learning drums, guitar, saxophone or another instrument. We also offer vocal instruction, so your child can work on improving their vocal skills as well as learning piano and keyboards.
Our Live Program
Participation in our Live Program is included in your tuition along with your San Clemente piano lessons. For this program, students are organized into several performance groups, based upon their ability. Students meet weekly to develop set lists and practice songs for our live rock shows. These shows are held about six to 12 times per year at top venues such as the Coach House, the House of Blues, Stillwater and our own private stage, The Lobby.
Our rock shows aren’t recitals, these are authentic rock concerts and we use the same equipment that professional musicians use. Students can learn to set up for a show and perform in concert using the same professional gear as their favorite artists. Our facility is stocked with the best new and vintage gear, and the students can use it all!
Additional Offerings
In addition to piano lessons for San Clemente kids and teens, we also offer songwriting classes and production classes. Our state-of-the-art facility boasts two professional recording studios, one of which was set up by a Grammy-winner producer. Students at Los Rios Rock School can learn how to write and record their own original music.
Los Rios Rock School is an accredited music school and for our advanced music students, we also offer an AP Music Theory class. This course is taught by an instructor with a Ph.D. in Music Composition and provides students with all the knowledge they need to pass the difficult AP Music Theory exam.
