Aliso Viejo Music Camp: Summer Fun For Musical Kids, Teens
We all anticipate the beginning of summer, but if you are not quite sure how you are going to fill up your child’s vacation, a week at Los Rios Rock School might be the perfect option. About Our Camps
Our music camps are ideal for children and teens that love to play or want to learn how to play any type of guitar, drums, keyboards & piano or perhaps another instrument, such as saxophone or clarinet. Our camps also are perfect for those who love to sing, and we welcome all levels of vocalists as well. Of course, many campers like to do a little bit of everything, so if you have a child that wishes to rock out on drums and also loves to sing, we might be the ideal option for an Aliso Viejo music camp.
Los Rios Rock School’s half-day music camps run from 9:30 a.m. until noon, and each day is filled with exciting activities, including jam sessions, songwriting workshops, performance workshops and much more. We tend to let the kids’ interests and ability level guide us to create a schedule filled with activities particularly suited to each unique group of campers.
At the end of the week, campers will perform a live rock show on our private stage, The Lobby. We get started preparing for this show right away, as the kids divide up into groups and begin selecting songs for the big show on the first day of camp.
We offer camps for beginning & intermediate students as well as advanced music students. While many Los Rios Rock School students attend our camps, you don’t have to be a student in order to sign up. We are always excited to see new faces and work hard to make everyone feel welcome. Our advanced camps are similar in format to the beginning/intermediate camps; we simply take the difficulty level up a few notches to match the skills of these campers.
The Fine Print
Our Beginner & Intermediate music camps are scheduled for the following weeks: June 26-June 30; July 10-July 14; July 24-July 28; and July 31-August 4. Our Advanced Camp will be held during the week of July 17-21. As stated before, these camps begin at 9:30 a.m. and run until noon. The cost for each camp week is $299 for our current students and $399 for non-students. We ask that camp tuition is paid two weeks prior to your start date.
