We hold several shows each year, and bands perform at the rock school or perhaps venues such as The Coach House and Stillwater.
Both a weekly, 60-minute lesson and the rock band experience are included in the monthly tuition. Students come in once per week for their regular lesson and then attend practice jam sessions to prepare for rock shows. Not only do they continue to improve their technical skills during practice sessions, they also have an opportunity to makes new friends and socialize. Performing during the rock shows also builds confidence and provides a creative outlet.
Each of our highly skilled instructors is a professional musician and all are currently in working bands. They can teach any type of guitar and using any genre of music, including rock, blues, folk, pop, country and more, whatever your child or teen enjoys. Students can split their 60-minute weekly lesson in two if they wish and spend half of the lesson on guitar and the other half on something else such as piano, clarinet, drums or voice.
