Not only will your child enjoy Laguna Niguel drum lessons, the tuition includes a true rock band experience! Our student bands perform at the same venues as professional musicians, such as Stillwater in Dana Point, The House of Blues in Anaheim, The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano as well as at other venues and festivals.
We accept children and teens of all ages, and while most Laguna Niguel Music Schools offer 30-minute lessons, our students enjoy a weekly, hour-long lesson as well as jam sessions and band rehearsals. It’s all included in your monthly fees!
Our state-of-the-art music school is filled with the best professional music and production equipment and the kids can use it all! For drummers, we have eight sets of handmade DW Collectors Series drum kits. DW drums are used throughout the music industry by legends such as Rush’s Neil Peart and Nirvana’s Dave Grohl.
If your child wishes to learn more than one instrument, we easily can accommodate their interests. You can split the 60-minute lesson in two and spend half of your time working on one instrument and half on another instrument. In addition to Laguna Niguel drum lessons, our expert instructors can teach virtually any instrument including piano & keyboard, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, clarinet, flute, saxophone and we also offer voice lessons.
Our students can even write their own music, rehearse their songs with the student bands and perform their own original compositions during the live rock shows. They also can produce their own music using our state-of-the-art production equipment.
Students also get to learn using the genres of music that they truly love. Our experienced instructors, all of which are also in working bands, can teach your child or teen to play songs that they prefer. This includes every possible genre from rock to country to pop and even bluegrass, blues, rockabilly and classical. We want our students to be excited about music as well as gaining confidence through live performances.
