Fun Guitar Lessons for Mission Viejo Kids & Teens
They say practice makes perfect, but it’s often difficult to motivate kids and teens to practice a musical instrument. Often this is due to two factors. One, they aren’t playing an instrument they truly enjoy and two; they usually have little to no choice about the music they learn. At Los Rios Rock School, we do things a little bit differently.
For one thing, we can teach virtually any instrument. The guitar can be an awesome choice for a teen or younger child that doesn’t seem to fit with the usual school instruments such as violin, flute or clarinet. Our instructors can teach using any genre of music, including rock, country, bluegrass, jazz, pop, rockabilly, classical and so on.
Our monthly tuition includes guitar lessons for Mission Viejo students, and not a half-hour or even a 45-minute lesson. Each week, your child will receive a full, 60-minute private lesson. But that’s not all. The tuition also includes a unique rock band experience!
We create student bands and our young musicians practice during weekly jam sessions. Set lists are created and the students perform at local venues such as Stillwater, the Coach House and the House of Blues. These weekly jam/practice sessions not only are included in the monthly fee, they also provide a great way for the kids to make new friends.
These guitar lessons for Mission Viejo students are quite flexible. Many students like to learn two different instruments, so we let the kids split their lesson into two parts if they wish. Some students spend 30 minutes learning guitar and 30 minutes taking voice lessons. Others will spend half a lesson on electric guitar and the remainder on piano.
